We know sometimes people had; at the very last minute a change in their schedule etc. But sometimes, these people who are cancelling, we think are just plain irresponsible. They did it because they think "tak apa lah", if I cancel last minute and keep quiet about it, so what?

These things had happened to us several times. Imagine, we have reserve the rental car for you and did not accept another booking for the car, but in the end, this booking was canceled. And you didn't even bother to tell us until we call you for the 10th time while waiting for you at the airport. Talking about irresponsible behaviour at the highest order! Please, we don't mind you cancelling your booking. But please let us know in advance. Don't just keep mum.

For these type of irresponsible customers, they are blacklisted for eternity. That's the least we can do, seriously. But starting from March 2014, Kereta Sewa Tawau J3 will introduce and impose a slip and penalty system. We will send a confirmation slip to you when you have confirmed your booking with us. In other word, we are going to send you our agreement in black & white to your handphone and email. You will keep a copy and we will also keep a copy of that agreement. Customers who wants to cancel their booking can cancel within 48 hours prior to the car pick-up date. If you cancelled the booking and do absolutely nothing and didn't inform us at Kereta Sewa Tawau J3, we will penalized you the equivalent of one day rent charge. If there is no action to pay the fine from you, then we will take the confirmation slip to the nearest police station. Yes, for real.
